The Triune God is expressed in the image of oneness and so we ought to have unity in the church. As the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one in unity, we can have unity in our relationships, and because of the way the Father relates to his Son in unity, we can also relate to one another in the same way. A person who divides churches or family had not understood the oneness of the Triune God. The unity is the foundation of the Triune God because the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are united and the same can be achieved in the body of Christ. Testimony: Sometime back I was supposed to preach in a church where the spirit of the division was at work. I received specific instructions from God to preach on the unity of the church. By the grace of God bestowed upon me to deliver the sermon on the subject, as a result, the church finally got united and blessed and filled with the glory of God.
