   The third role of the Holy Spirit is to give us the Spirit of wisdom. To understand the above-mentioned role, let us read the relevant scriptures pertaining to this role of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:17 “…give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation…” 1 Corinthians 1:24 “…Christ…and the wisdom of God.” Ephesians 6:17“…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” What is wisdom? Wisdom is nothing but applying the written word into our day-to-day lives so that the living Word (Jesus) will manifest in our lives. In other words, the character of Jesus is to be seen in our lives. The Bible tells us that everything in this world is created by the wisdom of God. When we look at Genesis, Chapter One, it is clearly understood that everything is created by the spoken word of God. So, what is wisdom in this context? It is the spoken word of God.   All my life I have been taught about the death of Christ but nobody has taught me about His life till now. The Bible says but He (Christ) who lives life, He lives to God. Just imagine Christ living a life unto God the Father; but why? I s  He not the second person of the Triune God? Yes- But why is He living before the Father? So that we must understand clearly that He is living our life before the Father; the Father sees us through, Christ. We are absolutely holy, perfect, and righteous according to Hebrews 10:10,14. The Bible says in  1 John 4:17 as He is so are we in this world. So, we are exactly like Him on this earth. Does Christ have sickness in His body right now? No! So we are called to live exactly like Him, therefore we can declare that no sickness can even touch us all the days of our life.   Put a seal on you after you are saved. To understand the above-mentioned role of the Holy Spirit, let us read Ephesians 1:13, 14 “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession — to the praise of his glory.” Who has put this seal? After we are saved, it is the   job of the Holy Spirit to put a mark and a seal upon us which cannot be broken for eternity.   TO RECOGNISE THE INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT T he first role of the Holy Spirit is to testify, glorify and reveal Jesus Let us read some of the scriptures to understand this role of the Holy Spirit.
