SIN OR HOLINESS

Now, the million-dollar question is, having said that the law is terminated or nullified and we are made holy and immersed in holiness and righteousness of Christ, then are we free to commit any sin we feel like? No! Not at all!! The Bible says in  Romans 6:1–2, “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” According to Roman s  6:2 by no means! As we have died to sin, how can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:3 says, “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?” What does that mean? Christ died taking our sins, but now we don’t have to die taking our sins rather we have to die to sin. It means when the opportunity arises to sin, we cannot act to sin because we are dead to sin. When the opportunity arises for adultery or cheats or telling lies, we cannot do so, because we are dead to adultery or to cheat or to...

Life in Christ Jesus

All my life I have been taught about the death of Christ but nobody has taught me about His life till now. The Bible says but He (Christ) who lives life, He lives to God. Just imagine Christ living a life unto God the Father; but why? Is He not the second person of the Triune God? Yes- But why is He living before the Father? So that we must understand clearly that He is living our life before the Father; the Father sees us through, Christ. We are absolutely holy, perfect, and righteous according to Hebrews 10:10,14. The Bible says in 1 John 4:17 as He is so are we in this world. So, we are exactly like Him on this earth. Does Christ have sickness in His body right now? No! So we are called to live exactly like Him, therefore we can declare that no sickness can even touch us all the days of our life. You must declare “I am sickness proof!” Many people lose their healing because they are focusing on symptoms rather than on Christ. If you want to lead your life without sickness, the...

What Glory and His Knowledge can do?

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” The word ‘arise’ in Hebrew is ‘qum’ which means ‘to be ‘established’. Now the question arises, what is to be established? We are to be established in the glory, which is the very foundation of our life. So, we ought to not only to be established in the glory but also move in this glory which is ever increasing. In other words, we are supposed to move from one level of glory to another level of glory. Isaiah 60:2 “See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” The Lord rises upon you means we become the channel through which He begins to manifest Himself. That is why it is said in Ephesians 1:12–13 that we are the praise of His glory and His literal glory appears over us. Isaiah 60:3 “Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” The verse explains the power, capability, and abi...

Adam and Eve

Adam and Eve’s first sin (Unbelief and Doubt) Let us read, Genesis 3:4-5, “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” And Genesis 1:26, “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” When we read both the verses carefully, it gets very clear that the first sin committed by Adam and Eve was unbelief and doubt. In reference to the above-given verse, the devil comes and says that God does not want you to eat it because the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God.  But in truth, Genesis 1:26 states that both (Adam and Eve) were already like God. So, first sin of humanity was doubt and unbelief in the Word of God.  Many people argue why it is on...

If God is for us, who can stand against us?

We had a crusade in the open ground in one of the interior villages in a state of India. Whenever conventions were organized in that area a few people used to turn up for it. But history was created in that place during one of our crusades, as record number of people came in from all corners of the nearby villages and states. As our volunteers were praying for the convention, a day before the crusade at the ground, some people who were enemies of the cross and gospel came and threatened them saying that they would allow meeting only for a day and would make us flee from that village the next day. Our volunteers were not afraid but boldly answered that they are probably not acquainted with their pastor and that he shall conduct the meeting for all the scheduled three days. On the first day of the crusade, there were too many police personnel guarding the entire ground and the police authorities too were present at the crusade venue to take me for interrogation. In a very tense atmo...

Glory-The very likeness of God

In the Old Testament, the word ‘Glory’ in Hebrew is ‘Kabod’ meaning’ to be heavy’ which also means to be wealthy, honoured, glorified, reward, divine health, healing, etc. Besides, the ultimate purpose of God was to create man in His image and likeness who would be the glory of Christ Jesus. So, what is this glory? God wanted something to be like Him and hence created man on the face of the earth and called him to be His glory. Hebrews 2:7–8 says, “You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour and put everything under his feet.” In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him…” [This verse describes the amazing glory of the first Adam. This was the position of first Adam before the fall.] The Word of Almighty describes that everything was brought under subjection of the first Adam. The power displayed in him was simply mind-blowing as he walked in the glory of God. In order to understand what I am emphasizing here, let...

Being Christ-Centred

Christ, Himself said I will never leave you nor forsake you .“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) The Greek word for ‘what you have’ is ‘pareimi’ which is a combination of two words ‘para’ means ‘alongside’ and ‘eimi’ means ‘to be’, so our dependence is not on money but being alongside our Lord and Master and that is why the Lord said that you can do nothing without me (John 15:5). Here we have to set the Lord in our imagination and thoughts .  Always imagine with your mind to see the Lord is by your side. Always keep an imaginary picture of Lord Jesus Christ in your mind; besides, see and contemplate Christ always with you, in you and around you. I strongly believe in these days there will be multiple visions of Jesus Christ.  David said, “I have set the LORD always before me.Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”(Psalm 16:...

You have wells of salvation

In Isaiah 12:3 “With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” It is a foregone conclusion that we have wells inside us. Now the question is what is inside these wells and how do we draw from it? The eternal source of all stays inside us i.e. the Triune being. Every time you have a pressurizing situation, you got to be joyful and draw water from the wells of salvation. Every time a symptom of disease or sickness appears, open your mouth to rejoice and be joyful and you are drawing water from the wells of salvation and literally, that disease and sickness will vanish. Therefore, Philippians 3:1 says rejoicing acts like safeguard for us and when we rejoice, no matter how big the problem is, we will be safe. Similarly, when we put on joy and start rejoicing, no problem will be a problem for us. Every problem will fall on the ground. Testimony : - One fine day I was feeling a bit uneasy and experienced a little pain in my stomach. So I felt like passing stool but couldn’t...

Know the difference between fact and truth

To live in glory, it is important for us to know the difference between fact and truth. Some people are so dependent on the fact that they stake their lives for it! They say these are facts and can never change, which is not at all true. For e.g. if you weigh a man on the earth and let’s say his weight is fifty-five kilograms. Now fifty- five kilogram weight is an absolute fact and there is no doubt about it. But, if you take the same person to moon and weigh him there, he would weigh around nine kilograms. Now you see, the fact that was on the earth has changed totally when the person is on the moon. In other words, the fact depends upon geographical location, but the truth depends upon none. It is absolutely false that the report from the doctors cannot be changed. It is just a fact that you may have received a report from the doctors, but it must change infront of the truth. The only truth is the Word of God and that is why Psalmist says “Forever, Oh Lord your word is settled i...
