The Heavenly Calling (Part 2)

Now you may be wondering what do we mean by these heavenly calling? It means he comes to live inside us to make us a heavenly being and we become the house of the living God. It is the most amazing thing that happens to a born again believer.

1 Peter 1:23 says “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” The Greek word for ‘seed’ is ‘sperma’ and ‘word’ is ‘logos’. When we are born again as John 3:6 says, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the spirit gives birth to spirit”

The moment a person invites Jesus Christ to be the Lord of his life, something happens inwards, there is a conjoining of the Word and the Spirit taking place in the person who becomes a by-product of ‘sperma’ and ‘logos’ then from that day onwards the Holy Spirit comes to have permanent resident in us

In John 3:8, you are compared to wind, i.e. we become unstoppable, unlimited, and a mystery to the devil. Firstly, you are compared to wind because wind is unstoppable and we become unstoppable. In other words, no one can stop you. You can do anything and reach anywhere because you are unstoppable.

Secondly, you are compared to wind because the wind is unlimited. No one can put a limit on wind and direct it to blow, likewise, you are also limitless.

Thirdly, you are compared to wind because wind is a mystery as there would be nothing and then, all of a sudden, wind starts blowing from nowhere. In the same way, you are a mystery to the devil. The devil is wondering that he was here from a long time but all of a sudden these alien believers just appeared and they are the one appointed to bring his downfall and destruction i.e.to trample the devil under their feet. The inner being of a new born again believer is such that he becomes residence of the Triune God.

My Testimony - Apostle Winston Joseph, Ph. D

Healed from Asthama Many years ago, I had asthma. It was a hereditary disease in my family and I witnessed one of my aunts who died because of it in a very dreadful situation. She was hanged upside down to ease her predicament. I had the same disease and there was a time in my life when I could not sit nor stand because of the illness. I could not breathe properly and sometimes I used to have excruciating pain at my back due to the that illness. Also, I had severe dust allergy, even if a little dust went into my nostrils, I would sneeze for a long time. But when I came to know that the Word is the truth and that the fact can be changed through the truth , I started to take hold of the Word and declare and decree it for days and days. Devil used to show me the fact that this disease is incurable. But I kept on declaring the truth i.e. the Word until I was totally healed and delivered from that disease. Now I know that I am born of the Spirit, walking in glory in divine health whi...

Why temple veil torn..?

Do you know that when Jesus Christ died, the veil on the temple was torn in two parts from top to bottom (Mark 15:38)?  The word ‘temple’ in original language is ‘Naos’ – often denotes only the innermost sacred part of the building. So, what did God want to say from the above-mentioned verse? The answer is, in the Old Testament, God’s presence was behind the veil in the innermost sacred part of the temple and in the New Testament, that presence has come out of that place and God speaks to His people by residing in their hearts. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit who is the third person of the Trinity, would come upon a person only for a specific time and a specific purpose and after that particular purpose was achieved and the time was over the Holy Spirit had to leave. But in the New Testament, due to the veil of the temple being torn, every believer now can be filled with the Holy Spirit.                        ...
