Your Glory Is Waiting To Be revealed

Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”

Look at this verse carefully where the word ‘suffering’ in Greek is ‘pathema’ which means ‘passion’. Now, what is passion? Passion is an intense desire or enthusiasm for something. That is why the word of God says that the glory that would be revealed in us and through us is not worthy to be compared to the intense desire we have for the world or the things of the world. Maybe, the world and its sins have caught hold of you tightly and you are passionately engulfed in it. But glory is crying out loudly from inside to be revealed. If you want glory to be revealed through you, then learn to say no to the world and its desires.

Therefore, the Word says in Hebrews 12:1,“…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Something in your life may not be a sin but it can be hindrance or impediment or obstruction to where you ought to reach!

Let us see the life of Abraham who was called by God to walk alone in the promise and the glory land but he also took Lot along with him. Now taking Lot, his nephew along, was not a sin but an impediment to where he was going. So the moment Lot was cut off from his life, God asked Abraham to look from east to west and from north to south wherever his eyes can reach and He can give that land to him. So Lot, the nephew of Abraham was obstructing his glory. (Genesis 13:14–15.)

Hebrews 12:1 instructs us not only to put away obstruction but also to run with perseverance the race marked out for us. What is the race marked out for you? Good question! It is called revelation of your glory.’ In other words, time or Kairos time (Lord’s time) i.e. the destined time has arrived for our revelation. In other words, veil to be removed as in Romans 8:19, the creation is out to receive the skeleton of our thinking or imagination or of the sons of God to be unveiled.

Romans 8:20, “For the creation was placed under the futility, or emptiness not by its own choice but by the will of one who placed under it, in eager expectation that the creation itself will be set free from its slavery (to be led astray or corrupted) and brought into glorious freedom of the children of God.” (Romans 8:19 and 20 mentioned here is the author’s version of translation)

The entire creation is crying out for the sons of God to be revealed. But I must make it clear that it is not going to happen until and unless the church would imagine and contemplate to get into the glorious realm. God, the Father is waiting for his sons and daughters to walk in glorious freedom. There is absolute freedom in glory. In glory, there is no restriction on human flesh. For example, Philip was lifted and transported to other place when he came out of water after baptizing the eunuch. David with his bare hands could kill lion and bear. Moses could divide a sea by stretching forth his hand. Elijah could call fire from heaven. Joshua could command the sun and the earth to stop. Israelites could bring the walls down by just going around it. Samson could tear the lions apart with bare hands as if it were lamb.

In glory, there is no restriction at all, so glory brings absolute freedom i.e. freedom to do and freedom to move. Jesus was the penultimate and the church is ultimate when it comes to walking in glorious freedom. His very presence tumbled the walls of restrictions; demons fell at his feet when he walked in the flesh. He could heal paralysis just by a word and he could recreate eyes by applying mud, multiplying the fish and loaves by thanking and raising the dead by a deep shout so much so that in John 21:25 one of his disciples says, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have had room for the books that would be written.”

Just imagine three and a half years and the number of miracles, signs, wonders that Jesus performed if they were written, the world would be full of books.

Wherever he walked there was a miracle when he talked there was a miracle when he sat there was a miracle when he ate there was a miracle when he slept there was a miracle. So in those three and a half years, there were multiple innumerable miracles kept on happening. Now it gets more interesting because the same person, Jesus said that if we believe in him we would do more miracles than he did. But why the church has not yet reached that level? It is because we have not understood what does it takes to walk in glorious freedom.

BLESSING IN GIVING

The most important thing we learn from the living Triune God is everyone who has a relationship with the living God cannot stop himself from giving. The Scripture in John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” So, if we have a relationship with the living Triune God then it would be normal for us to give. 2 Corinthians 9:7 informs us that God loves a cheerful giver. It is mandatory that tithe, offering, and whatever God puts in our heart we must offer to Him cheerfully. For whatever we are and we have received is given to us by God. God has taught me this principle in the beginning of the ministry and it is no wonder that God blessed me and made me a blessing for others. I can tell you with my own experience along with the authority of the Word of God and with assurance I can say that those who sow cheerfully would never lack. Luke 6:38 clearly mentions: “Give, and it will be...

Why temple veil torn..?

Do you know that when Jesus Christ died, the veil on the temple was torn in two parts from top to bottom (Mark 15:38)?  The word ‘temple’ in original language is ‘Naos’ – often denotes only the innermost sacred part of the building. So, what did God want to say from the above-mentioned verse? The answer is, in the Old Testament, God’s presence was behind the veil in the innermost sacred part of the temple and in the New Testament, that presence has come out of that place and God speaks to His people by residing in their hearts. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit who is the third person of the Trinity, would come upon a person only for a specific time and a specific purpose and after that particular purpose was achieved and the time was over the Holy Spirit had to leave. But in the New Testament, due to the veil of the temple being torn, every believer now can be filled with the Holy Spirit.                        ...
