OMNISCIENT (All-Knowing): The Father is All-Knowing

If we study the Bible we understand the Father’s characteristic as omniscient, i.e. All-Knowing. Does that mean that the Son and the Holy Spirit are not omniscient? Absolutely not! Applying the above analogy of joint account of three persons i.e. husband, wife, and the child, we understand just as the Father is omniscient, so are the Son and the Holy Spirit, as they are all one, that is, having a joint account as John 17:10 tells us, “All I (the Son) have is yours (the Father), and all you (the Father) have is mine (the Son). And glory has come to me (the Son) through them (one account-being).” So whatever the Son has, the Holy Spirit has and the Father also has the same. This is a clear example of sharing one account of three people.

So, every characteristic that the Father has also belongs to the Son and the Holy Spirit.

As John 16:15 tells us, “All that belongs to the Father is mine (the Son). That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine (the Son) and make it known to you.”

The above-mentioned verse says ‘all that’, it means ‘everything’ including the quality of being omniscient also belongs to the Son. Now notice the “Holy Spirit will take from what is mine.” Now the question arises how can the Holy Spirit receive from the Son? It is simply because they all are one as they are having one account. Because they are one Godhead (being); whatever the Father has, the Son has and whatever the Son has, the Holy Spirit has and whatever the Holy Spirit has, the Father has.

Why temple veil torn..?

Do you know that when Jesus Christ died, the veil on the temple was torn in two parts from top to bottom (Mark 15:38)?  The word ‘temple’ in original language is ‘Naos’ – often denotes only the innermost sacred part of the building. So, what did God want to say from the above-mentioned verse? The answer is, in the Old Testament, God’s presence was behind the veil in the innermost sacred part of the temple and in the New Testament, that presence has come out of that place and God speaks to His people by residing in their hearts. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit who is the third person of the Trinity, would come upon a person only for a specific time and a specific purpose and after that particular purpose was achieved and the time was over the Holy Spirit had to leave.
